In our fast paced society anxiety, stress and depression are significantly on the rise. The benefits of putting pen to paper each day have been proven to make a huge difference.

Why don’t more people do it?! Frankly, journaling daily can seem daunting to start and stick with.  The empty page can be intimidating so we start and stop or never even get started. 

For years this was true for me until I came up with a simple life-hack called write one line. The idea of “Write One Line" began as a practice to help my personal growth. I had been a journaler for 20 years. I found myself journaling for 3 days, then life happens and would not put pen to paper again for 3 years. I had a decade of my life on just a couple pages!

I had to find a way to make it simple. The easiest thing I could think of was “write one line". What could be easier than that?! Take 2 minutes each day to write one line. A memory, an idea, a lesson I learned, or anything that came to mind. It honestly didn’t matter what I wrote, it mattered that I wrote and this worked for me. 

Over the past couple years, I shared my daily practice with others and now hundreds of people from all different walks of life “write one line" each day, many using one of our custom leather journals.
